Cannot dock ship.

At the end of mission 2 the ship cannot be docked. Please fix error.

I love this game and I want more.

I love this game, but I want to see more. I want to see more expansions in the map, more powerful starships and weapons to buy, and new factions and enemies. If you want to get more inspiration, look at the game called "Galaxy On Fire Two" by Fishlabs. I was a big fan of that franchise. This game can allow you to buy ships that are tougher and larger. The whole map of this game is like seeing the whole galaxy with different factions and alien races, so you can get an idea on doing that for the future updates in Stellar Wanderer.

Could be great!

The grammar of the subtitles is terrible, so was probably made in a non-English speaking country. Game is almost an exact copy of gameplay and layout of StrikeWing. Feels like you are playing an earlier crappier version of StrikeWing. It is made by the same company, so that makes sense. The difference is that Stellar Wanderer is more of an open sandbox world, where StrikeWing follows a storyline with one mission at a time. I just wish they kept gameplay smoother as with StrikeWing. Hopefully updates will fix some of the issues. Why are equipped missiles still part of the cargo hold? If they are mounted, they shouldnt be using up cargo space. Hard to complete many missions because you can be fighting bad guys, and not know the freighter you were escorting warped out, and since you didnt follow, you lost the mission. Need more notifications during missions. Better targeting options would be nice. A speed match button to move the same speed of a target would be nice too, so we dont keep passing slow enemies or escorted ships. I hate having to hit reverse every five to ten seconds to stay near the ship I am protecting. Controls are sloppy, gameplay needs better controls and more options. Nowhere near as fun as Galaxy on Fire. This game is difficult to figure out, and needs cleaning up to get better ratings.

Exactly What Was Expected

The game itself is great, including first and third person view, a full voiceover, and loads of customization. The reality is the game only really shines once you beat the 10 hour story mode, at which you are finally free to explore, trade, mine, or terrorize across ten (very diverse) systems. And someone mentioned factions... They are in game, listed below the system name on the 3D system map. Its very interesting as pirates (and yes, you can be one) have an easier time in some systems due to a lower population and thus, less guards. Also noticed that the game has a lot of realism, youre gonna have to buy a lot more than ships, so I really look forward to finishing this somewhat long (but very profitable) storyline. Its honesty not as bad as everyones saying. Sound:4/5 Gameplay:4/5 Controls:4/5 Price Value: 5/5 Total 4.25/5 (rounded down)

Needs fixes

Im just writing in hopes of bug fixes. My game has started spawning pairs of untargetable pirates. The ships show only the smaller red markers and no name or health bars. The range of adjusted aiming does not work on these ships so it makes it extremely hard to kill them as you have to lead them very precisely. The game seems not to recognize them and will spawn more and more pairs of pirates. Ive seen eight in one sector. Another bug is that 3rd person view no longer works after I purchased a new ship. I tried switching between cockpit view and even buying another ship and it didnt work. The screen just shows the normal hud items but no ship or cockpit on screen. Another bug is that when I received a phone call during the game it paused correctly but when I returned all sound effects were gone. The music still worked and I tried turning the settings on and off but that problem only fixed upon restarting. Im really loving the game but its starting to get unplayable

Broke Game

This publisher produced a broke game. Its a shame because if it worked like it was supposed to, it would be a five star game. If you like and use the stick control, your ship frequently and hopelessly spins down to the right in circles and spins out of control in nearly every other dog fight.

Too many bugs

This game has potential, but there are too many bugs and balance fixes that need to be done. Save yourself some frustration and wait for a few updates before purchasing this game.

Great foundation with some quirks

Overall, a really solid game, but its sometimes hampered by frustrating details. Even with my complaints below, Im tempted to give it five stars, simply because Im far more engaged by this game than I thought I would be. But there are just too many little details that they havent quite got right. On the plus side, the controls are solid, and the targeting system is intuitive and consistent. Ship and environment design is pretty good, and overall the game world is impressive, especially for a mobile game. Honestly wasnt expecting this game to be as engaging as it is. The complaints I have are as annoying as they are only because this game has such potential to be really great. As to those complaints, the writing is pretty bad. Ive lost track of the number of times Ive rolled my eyes at the dialogue. I dont expect much, but it sometimes reads like its just been put through Google Translate. In terms of gameplay, the frequency of random pirate attacks gets really old, really fast. Jump to a new area, and a couple of pirates start attacking within a few seconds. Surprise. Fly for more than a minute or two, and two more attack. Theyre not difficult to defeat, its not a challenge, its just annoying. Like being constantly attacked by annoying space mosquitos. And the pirate attacks while youre trying to mine are incredibly annoying. And they need to increase the stock of missiles and other weapons at bases, particularly when being assigned a mission. Its so annoying to hear, "were sending you on this dangerous mission, youll take on a whole bunch of powerful enemies"... and then you go to refill your missiles, and the base doesnt have anything in stock. In spite of all the complaints, this is still a very good game. Even with all these issues, its still a four-star game easily. As I said, the issues above wouldnt bother me if they werent part of an otherwise really impressive game.

Clunky BS

Game could be awesome but a seems to have been rushed through production. As one reviewer said, a lot of times targets cant be locked on and become virtually impossible to kill in packs. Makes continuing the story difficult. Very frustrating to spend $5 out of the gate on an app that doesnt really work. Hoping for some software updates that address, wonderful concept and and artwork. Also make the markets less clunky and confusing.

Great game

Really like the game everyone who would like more content and more ships other than that cant complain

Playable and now fun.

This promising game had a very rocky start, but for the most part all major flaws that dogged this game are resolved. Still freezes here and there, but far less frequently. Mining is now actually possible to do without being attacked and immediately destroyed. Still cant stand the dumb mission completion requirements. Not being allowed to dock for rearming without failing the mission is flat out stupid. Anyway, its a playable and fun game now, and Id recommend it finally.

Easy aiming

The easy aiming is broken it works about 30% of the time. Please fix this because it is nearly impossible to play with out it! Over all from what little progress I am able to make its a good game.

Fun, but could be better

I would recommend this game to anyone who has finished Galaxy on Fire 2 and wants more of the same. This game has less content but much of the same feel, especially in combat. The ability to choose different classes and customize your pilots skill is a nice innovation only found here. I also like how the story has less juvenile humor. There are some areas that could use improvement: 1. There are no alien races, only a few human factions that could use more differentiation in gameplay. 2. Ive never been able to find better ships to buy, only different ships. This makes money less important after a while. 3. Racing is too punishing. I am currently stuck at a racing mission, and a way to complete the game without winning the race would be nice.

Great Game

This is a great game. While it has some small quirks, its still worth the money. I chose this game because I beat Galaxy On Fire and this game is similar, except this game might have more customization options. The Pros and cons are listed below. Pros +Smooth/realistic flight +Beautiful graphics +Lots of systems to explore +Creative space stations, asteroid fields, landing pads etc., to explore in each system +Pilot customization with classes/stats +Missions you can take to earn credits/experience +In depth Ship types +In depth Ship customization. There are lots of kinds of ships with their own capabilities. Some, but not all, of things you can customize on the ship you choose to fly ship are below. I would like to note. There is a huge variety of everything listed below. I mean EVERYTHING. (Example: theres not just one kind of repair droid. Theres several kinds of repair droids, which can repair your ship mid battle etc.,) -afterburners -engines -shields -armors -batteries/generators -primary weapons (I.e., lasers/phasers etc.,) -secondary weapons (missles etc.,) -equipment (I.e., repair droids, scanners, tractor beams/teleporters, cargo/armor/shield mods etc.,) Cons Sometimes your targeting system wont work on ships that are already engaged in a battle. I think you can still do damage to them if you hit them though it is very hard to do so.

Fun but Im stuck!

This game is pretty good and lots of fun but can be very unforgiving at times. I am currently stuck on a story mission where you meet up with some other ships and transfer some goods only to find that its a trap. I die instantly with no option to avoid it. If I try to dock before meeting up with the ships, I fail the mission! If I try to complete the mission, I die instantly before being able to even target a single enemy. So I dont know what else to do aside from starting over from scratch. The feeling of free roam in a fairly large universe is lost when forced to complete missions before being able to do anything else.

Well worth 5 bucks

Basically you are a space mercenary that cant say no to a dangerous job and the object is to blow up ships and save the Galaxy. Playing around with settings, controls, and character types is fun too.
